April has been designated as Child Abuse Prevention Month by presidential proclamation since 1983 and in Los Angeles County, we recognize it by promoting the Blue Ribbon Campaign. We encourage everyone to show their support for protecting children by wearing a blue ribbon. It would be great to see thousands of blue ribbons around the county to demonstrate our commitment to end this national tragedy. ********************************
